Royalty Staffing is Hiring a Network Specialist (FT) Near Charleston, SC

Job Details:
  • Maintain, secure and manage existing enterprise-wide network infrastructure both on-prem and on-cloud.
  • Contribute to the design of the future global network and its implementation.
  • Contribute to the design of scalable, maintainable and highly available services and applications.
  • Design and implement network security for business-critical services.
  • L3 support and troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, in some cases designing communication networks within an organization or between organizations.
  • Ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance.
  • Deploy networking environment by defining, implementing, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
  • Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.
  • Support and administration of firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
  • Configuration of routing and switching equipment.
  • Support to NOC and on-site engineers.
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur.
Qualifications:
Required skills and experience:
  • 7 years of experience in network design, network administration, technical support and network operations.
  • Hands-on experience on switches, routers, firewalls and load balancers, preferably with experience across multiple vendors (Cisco, HPE Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5).
  • In-depth knowledge of Networking technologies, standards and best practices.
  • Cloud expertise.
  • VMWARE/virtual switching.
  • Linux, Security.
  • Log management, alerting, monitoring.
  • Vendor Certifications (ie:Cisco, HPE Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Azure, etc.)
